Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart will receive their first joint award at the upcoming Stardust Ball, a major fundraising gala presented by Women’s Guild Cedars-Sinai. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on November 18 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, where the longtime Hollywood couple will be presented with the Icon Honors.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the organization selected the actors to recognize their "extraordinary careers and longstanding commitment to philanthropy." The event marks a rare shared spotlight for the pair, who have been together for nearly a quarter of a century while largely keeping their family life out of the public eye.
A Rare Shared Spotlight for Philanthropy
While both actors have accumulated numerous accolades across film and television, the Stardust Ball represents the first time they are being formally recognized as a duo. Proceeds from the Women’s Guild Cedars-Sinai gala will directly benefit the Women’s Guild Neurology Project and the Women’s Guild Distinguished Chair in Pediatrics at Guerin Children’s, the newest expansion at the Los Angeles hospital. To date, the Women’s Guild has raised more than $70 million for Cedars-Sinai.
The Icon Honors highlight decades of off-screen charitable work by both performers. Ford joined the board of directors for Conservation International in 1991, making him the environmental organization's longest-serving board member. He currently serves as a vice chair and previously received the group's inaugural E.O. Wilson Legacy Award for "transformative conservation leadership." An experienced aviator, Ford has also personally piloted search-and-rescue missions, flown medical personnel and supplies to aid relief efforts in Haiti, and backed charitable organizations including Operation Smile, Special Olympics, and Wings of Hope.
Flockhart’s philanthropic efforts have centered on health initiatives, animal welfare, and the prevention of violence against women and children. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with advocacy groups such as Peace Over Violence, the Violence Intervention Program, and For Goodness Sakes.
Joining Ford and Flockhart on the honoree program at the November gala is media executive Byron Allen, the founder, chairman, and CEO of Allen Media Group. Allen will receive a humanitarian award for his "longstanding commitment to creating opportunity, expanding representation and using his platform to uplift underserved communities." His company oversees a broad portfolio of broadcast and digital outlets—including The Weather Channel, HBCUGO, TheGrio Television Network, BuzzFeed, and HuffPost—while his talk show, Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen, is celebrating its 20th anniversary on CBS.
Two Decades Together Away from the Cameras
The joint recognition arrives during an unusually public year for the couple. Throughout 2026, Ford and Flockhart have made several high-profile appearances together, stepping out for the opening of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, the Emmy Awards, and the Actor Awards.
As detailed by vietnam.vn, the couple's relationship began in 2002, bridging a 22-year age difference. After dating for roughly seven years, Ford proposed to Flockhart on Valentine's Day in 2009 during a family vacation. They wed in June 2010 in a private ceremony at the New Mexico governor's mansion in Santa Fe while Ford was in the state filming the Western sci-fi feature Cowboys & Aliens. The wedding was officiated by the state's governor, a friend of the couple, and marked Ford's third marriage and Flockhart's first.
Following the marriage, Ford officially adopted Flockhart's son, Liam, who was a toddler when the actors first met. Ford already had four children from his two prior marriages. Reflecting on his decades as a working actor and father in a 2023 Esquire profile highlighted by TVLine, Ford offered a candid assessment of balancing a demanding career with family life: "I can tell you this: If I'd been less successful, I'd probably be a better parent. I accept my flaws and my failures—I don't accept them, I own them. And certainly, the more constant gardener is the better parent, and I've been out of town, up my own a**, for most of my life."
Their partnership has also weathered personal crises, most notably in March 2015 when Ford suffered severe injuries and was hospitalized after making an emergency landing in a malfunctioning plane. Although Flockhart described the crash later that year as a frightening period that underscored how unpredictable life can be, she continued to support her husband's dedication to aviation. When introducing Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, Ford publicly thanked Flockhart for backing his passions and dreams, noting that she had given his life purpose and meaning.
Active Chapters in Television and Streaming
Alongside their charitable commitments, both actors remain prominent fixtures on television. Known globally for his leading film roles in the Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises—after early career guest spots on classic series like Ironside and The F.B.I.—Ford has recently focused heavily on streaming television. He starred alongside Helen Mirren in Taylor Sheridan’s Paramount+ Western drama 1923 and currently plays Dr. Paul Rhodes on the Apple TV comedy series Shrinking opposite Jason Segel and Jessica Williams.
Flockhart has similarly maintained an active screen presence. She recently starred in the anthology drama series Feud and lent her voice to the animated superhero series Invincible. When the two take the stage at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in November, the ceremony will formally link their parallel careers and decades of private philanthropy on a single bill.
